Lots of recent work has walked off my walls (not by itself - with people holding onto it or stuffed up jumpers, that sort of thing) and my obsession with daisies appears to resonate with others too. I wonder what it is. I look at a big paddock full of waving little flower heads and somehow cannot see the part of them that's labelled 'weed'. (It might be different if I had to plough and plant that same paddock...) They just make me smile. Even when the kids are throwing things at each other's heads in the backseat of the car.

Daisies. Blossoms. Little crittery things. Paddocks dancing in the wind. Hearts singing.

A haiku:
a big fat daisy
bends and waggles merrily
outside my front door

new artwork

With special thanks to Florence Broadhurst.
With this new artwork I have been truly inspired and having loads
of fun playing with new and different techniques.
Lots of layering, printing, stamping, lost and found, brush strokes, moving the paint with water, tipping and rolling. As well as paying homage to my
bedspread and childhood walls.
Works are for sale and you can contact me via
www.artistsopenstudios.com.au
Enjoy!
